A Family Tradition of Learning
Education has always been a defining value in my family. Both of my parents were teachers, instilling in me from an early age a respect for learning and for the educators who make it possible. My sister continues that tradition today as a public school teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District. My wife and I are raising three children with the same appreciation for education, and our family has a personal connection to GCC-our daughter has attended the college. Like so many families in our community, we understand the importance of having a strong, supportive local college.

Grounded in Service & Leadership
I am running for the Glendale Community College Board of Trustees because I believe deeply in the power of public education and in the responsibility of leadership to serve by example. My values are simple but central to how I live and work: leadership is earned through example, and education is achieved through compassion. For more than 25 years, I have practiced law, building a career grounded in fairness, responsibility, and service to my community. In addition to my legal work, I have had the privilege of serving as an adjunct professor of business law at Glendale Community College. In the classroom, I have seen firsthand the dedication of our faculty and the determination of our students. Teaching at GCC has allowed me to contribute to an institution that changes lives every day.
Always admired our law enforcement
Kudos to my mom, who, while single and widowed, supported me all the way through law school
Ensuring Opportunity for All
Unlike many candidates, I do not have political ambitions. My goal is simply to give back to a college that has played an important role in our community and in my own family’s life. Glendale Community College offers opportunity—especially to students who may not have the financial means to attend expensive private or Ivy League institutions. Community colleges open doors for first-generation students, working adults, and anyone seeking a better future through education. If elected to the Board of Trustees, my focus will be on supporting the people who make GCC exceptional: our students, our faculty, and our staff. By approaching leadership with humility, integrity, and compassion, I hope to help strengthen GCC and ensure that it continues to provide a rewarding and accessible college experience for generations to come.
